Craig (my hubby) and I went to Las Vegas last weekend to celebrate our 16th anniversary. We stayed at my friend Robin's husbands appartment. Craig (Robins hubby) works in Vegas & comes home to Utah on the weekends. Craig & Robin to us out to west Vegas to check out Red Rock Canyon. What a beautiful place. The rock formations & picture graphs were cool.

I was asked to make a bunch of cards for my friend & boss to gives to send to our Curves ladies. To let them know how much we appriciated them in our lives. My friend Roxanne had to close the doors of our local Curves. She tried to sell for quite some time, but no luck! Now Rox will have the time to spend with her kids & hubby!!! It's sad, alot of the ladies count on Curves for their fitness. I will miss seeing the ladies. They have become such a big part of my life. Truly fantastic & inspiring woman. I am so thankful I had a chance to get to know them.
I made 12 cards, 2 of each!!!
I took pics of 3 each so they are easier to see. This was such a fun card to make.
They are all the same design, just different colors.

farmers market
Here is a pic from yesterdays farmers market. This was the fifth week. A little slower this weekend, I think due to labor day. But fun anyway !!!
This is a few of the venders that turned out today. Next to me is Madge. She sells fruits & veggys. Last week I got a watermelon from her. WOW- It was the best melon ever. My kids loved it too, even my (non watermelon eating) husband liked it. Next to Madge are the peach selling couple. They brought their peaches down from Willard. Next to them was a guy selling his art. He teaches art up at Weber State University.

First day of School :)
Newest soapies
This is one of the soaps I have made for the farmers market. It has 5 colors in it, and is scented with part cucumber melon & canteloupe cucumber. I call it fruit basket and it smells yummy!
Here is another soap. I made it with goats milk & oatmeal. It's called oatmeal, milk & honey. I really like what goats milk adds to a soap & oatmeal too. This soap rocks!
Here is another. This one is another goats milk soap. It is rosemary & peppermint.
It smells for fresh, and I like the tingle it gives. I got some red moroccon clay and added it to the top layer.
And another. This is lemongrass. When I first took of wiff of this one out of the bottle I thought what have i wasted my $$$ on. But I heard so much about it, people ranting how awesome it is in soap so I thought I just should try it. Once it is soaped it is yummy. More lemony scented that straight from the bottle. I added to the bottom layer dreid calendula flower petals from my yard. It looks pretty and smells great. I will definetly soap this again!!!
And last but not least.............................lavender raspberry.
What a yummy treat. I love the lavender & raspberry together. They smell so sweet.
I added grouns roses to the soap & for decoration on top!!
