I wanted to try my hand at making some croched bracelets. I think they turned out cute and were pretty easy to make.

Even more granny stripe

So when I started making my granny stripe blanket, my hubby asked what I was making. I was still on the first color I used, the lime green.  I said I was making a blanket. He said what kind of blanket am I making, a blanket for a snake. Ya funny.  NOT!!! There are no snakes allowed, so NO not a snake blanket.

Now that it is a little larger he said he thinks it defiantly isn't for a snake :) Mr. Funny Pants.
Dang straight!!! But it still & probably always will be called "The snake blanket".

Crochet granny stripe

While I am working on my scrappy granny square blanket I decided to start another scrappy blanket. I got the pattern for it over at Attic 24. The pattern is for the granny stripe. I love the look of  it. Here is what I have done so far :)

The I added a few more rows.

 

Then I folded it in half to take the pic!!

Arugula Baby :)

I am able to still harvest some arugula from my garden! It's mid December, so that is so awesome. I truly love my square foot gardens!!!

And some cilantro too!!!

And Miss Daisy was in there too :)

Crochet blanket

 I started this blanked years ago. It has been sitting in my tote with all my yarns. So I took it out a few weeks ago and started adding some more rounds to it.

While I have been working on it a thought came to me. I really am a seasonal crocher. I usually start wanting to work on something in October/ November when the weather starts getting colder.

Here is the big granny square I am working on.

It's that time of year, to make something fun for hubby to give his work buds for Christmas. I found a  cute candy sleigh here  and decided to make some.
Here is what I did.

You need some Kit Kats

 

A bag of  small mixed candy bars.

 

Another bag of mixed chocolates. This bag only had a few (maybe 5) chocolate santas. So you will need to get a bag of chocolate santas. And a few boxes of candy canes too.

Take a kit kat.

Get one of the small candy bars and glue it to the front of the kit kat, like a car bumper.

 

Next glue a small candy bar behind the bumper candy bar. Leave a little space to glue in santa next, between the two.

 

After that glue the other chocolates on the back of the sleigh, behind santa.

Then glue on the candy canes.

 

I glued mine close to the edge, it seemed to make it sturdy.

I have a darling neice and I have been wanting to make her something. I have been seeing lots of those cute hats around. I found a free online pattern (it's not free now, was free last year) and made her a teddy bear hat. Since she is "in love with" Donny Osmond I thought I would make it purple!!! Here it is.

My friend Rhonda wanted me to make a soap for her, to give to her mother for her birthday. I had Rhonda help me with mixing the colors.

Table runners

Last week my friend and I went to a local craft show. Robin saw a cute tablerunner. I told her I had made the same runner, that there is a tutorial for it on you tube and I could make one a lot cheaper. So we went into Joann and they happened to have the fabric we wanted on sale, for 65% off. So we ended up getting fabrics to make two tablerunners for just under 6 bucks. Sweet!!!

These were fun and easy to make. I think I will be making more for different seasons. Or you could to them with a monthly theme.

They would make a great & inexpensive gift!!!

Christmas Candy Cane Skincare

This year I thought I would make a fun candy cane soap & lotion bar. They are scented with peppermint eo. I sewed up a cute paper bag to put them in with a candy cane too.
