The watch bands are a blast to make. I saw a tutorial for them on the Sisters Stuff blog. They have step by step instruction on how to make them. They are fun!!!!

New Pillows

I was out in blog land the other day & and came across a lady that had just gotten some really pretty, bright fabric. Well they caught my eye & I started thinking, my family room is so dark to me these days and needs a punch of color. So I after Zumba class (which really hurt my bum) the other day I went to Hobby Lobby to check out their fabric. I found a few I really like. So I got the fabric & decided to re-cover 2 of the 4 pillows I have our family room.

The new brighter pillows!!! I have enough fabric so I still might get a pillow form & make one more pillow. One that is a little more "puffy".

Slow - Cooker Salsa Chicken

Here is a yummy & easy slow cooker/crock pot recipe. I found it on sparkpeople.

Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts ( i use chicken tenders too)
1 cup salsa
1 package reduced sodium taco seasoning
1 can reduced fat cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup reduced fat sour cream

Add chicken to slow cooker
Sprinkle taco seasoning over chicken
Pour salsa and soup over chicken
Cook on low for 6 - 8 hours
Remove from heat and stir in sour cream

Storage ideas

Here is a quick storage idea. When you finish using your clear plastic bottles, wash em', dry em' and wala!!!! Nice clear storage for all your craft goodies. I also use Parmesan Cheese containers and Mayo containers to use too. Besides it is good to recycle :)

Italian Chicken

Here is I new recipe I tried out last week. I was telling some friends about it (we like to share quick,easy & yummy recipes). So I decided to scrap it. I like having my recipes quick & easy to get to. I have been swapping the 4x6 size & really like them. I found the recipe here at Sisters Stuff. I find lots of good recipes & other stuff on their fun blog.

Mom's Birthday Card

Here is another lollipop flower card I made. It is for my Mom for her Birthday. It was another fun card to make (I think that about all cards I make:0). Hope she likes it.


Here is a close-up. I used Basic Grey papers for the flower & I love using Stampin' up paper for the base of my cards. I like the silky finish & no texture.

Post it note holders

I saw these cute post it holders of the sisters stuff blog and wanted to try them out. And a tutorial here at Kerry's. I got some of the acrylic frames at Michaels for $ 1.99 each. I thought I would try the dollar store too. Dollar Tree had quite a few sizes. These first 2 I did are both the 4x6 size. This first one I made for me. I just changed my kitchen decor to chickens. Love the chicken stamp!!!



The second one is for my mom. Her birthday is coming up soon. I like the colors in this one.

Tub Truffles

I made some tub truffles the other day. This winter I have been taking lots of nice warm baths.With it being so cold a bubbly warm bath hits the spot. These truffles are made from baking soda, citric acid, cocoa butter, unrefined shea butter, mango butter & I added a little sls for bubbles. I love the scent of the cocoa butter, so I wanted to add something that goes good with the cocoa. I used some of my orange x 5 essential oil. The truffles turnes out so yummy. They smell like an orange stick. I just love em', they soften the water just right without being greasy at all.

Carch's B-Day invitations

This is the b-day invite I made for Carch's party.
I wanted to use the Su sweet treat cups. I keep on getting
the wrong punch. I thought I had it last time when I got
a new 1 3/8 size. But no, it is the 1 3/4 size. I used
another punch I already had, and it is a little big.
I think it turned out ok.

Here is a pic of the card I made for Carch. The dog & number 10 were made with my cricut. And rock star pattenered paper from die cuts with a view. I love DCWV stuff.

Cards

I made some cards for my friend Robin for Christmas. She has been hinting about cards so I thought alright ( I like the excuse to make more cards). I liked using the wooden purse box I found at Roberts crafts to put the cards & envys in. The top middle card was the first lollipop flower I've made. It was fun & I liked that they are done just cutting free hand. I think the not so purfect look is good!!!

Carch's big 10 Happy Birthday

Yesterday we had Carch's family birthday party. All of Craig's family made it. Mom & Reed came too. Carch has been wanting a soda drinking hat. It was a hit at the party.
We forgot to get any soda for Carch to use with his new soda hat. We are way lame. Lucky for us Carch is a good sport & tried the hat out with cups of water. It works great.


Carch has been wanting "cold hard ca$h" for his b-day. He has been saving the money he got last year, plus his allowance to get him a Ipod Touch. He was so excited to get his Ipod on his birthday. He thought,(with a little help from us) that he would have to go and get it later. So it was a fun surprise for him.
